SMS CONSENT & OPT-IN PROCESS
How We Obtain Consent
Pinnacle Automation Works provides AI-powered appointment scheduling services for service businesses. When customers call to schedule appointments, our AI assistant obtains express verbal consent before sending any text messages.
Consent Process:
1. Customer calls the business phone number
2. AI assistant offers to send SMS confirmations and reminders
3. AI asks: "I'd like to send you a text message to confirm your appointment and send you a reminder 24 hours before. Is that okay?"
4. Customer verbally agrees (says "yes," "sure," "okay," or similar affirmative response)
5. AI collects the customer's mobile phone number
6. First SMS is sent with opt-out instructions
Example Call Flow:
AI: "Perfect! I'll get that scheduled for you. I'd like to send you a text message to confirm your appointment and send you a reminder 24 hours before. Is that okay?"
Customer: "Yes, that's fine."
AI: "Great! What's the best mobile number for these messages?"
Customer: Provides phone number
AI: Confirms and books appointment
Message Types Sent:
- Appointment confirmations
- 24-hour appointment reminders
- Service provider ETA updates
- Review requests (after service completion)
Opt-Out Process:
Every message includes instructions to opt out. Customers can:
- Reply STOP to any message to immediately unsubscribe
- Reply HELP for assistance
- Contact the business directly to be removed
All opt-out requests are processed immediately and documented.

"Your appointment with Hamilton Plumbing is confirmed for tomorrow 3/15 at 2:00 PM. Reply STOP to opt out."
"Reminder: Your appointment with Hamilton Plumbing is tomorrow 3/15 at 2:00 PM. Reply STOP to opt out."
"Hamilton Plumbing is on the way! ETA: 15 minutes. Reply STOP to opt out."
Data Privacy:
